Russian School of Mathematics : ウィキペディア英語版 | Russian School of Mathematics
The Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) is an after school program that provides mathematical education for children attending K–12 of public and private schools. The school is meant as a place where children can advance in mathematics beyond the traditional school curriculum. The founder of RSM is Inessa Rifkin and co-founder is Irene Khavinson.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.russianschool.com/about-us/our-founders )〕 The focus of RSM is primarily mathematics. The high-school level classes offer preparation for standardized tests such as the SAT, SAT II and AP exams. Each class usually involves intensive reinforcement of the topic using many examples and problems. Accompanied by classwork, all students are given homework to reinforce what they have learned. ==Locations== The after-school mathematics program was originally established in Boston, inside Inessa Rifkin's living room. Since then, RSM is one of the largest after-school math enrichment programs in the Northeast, and serves more than 10,000 students across six states.〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.russianschool.com/news/562 )〕 RSM also runs an overnight camp in Sunapee, New Hampshire.
